The hypocrisy of today's Republicans truly knows no limit. Even as the Party pushes the most extreme and reactionary platform ever, Tampa area strip joints and gay clubs and spas are preparing for the onslaught of the falsely pious folks from the convention. The GOP motto is obviously "do as I say, not as I do." My favorite promotion, however, comes from the
Ybor Resort and Spa which is offering free admission to GOP convention attendees.

For those unaware, Ybor City is a homo-heavy entertainment district famed for
its riotous nightclub scene, which is often described as Tampa's version of
Bourbon Street. Google tells us that the above bathhouse is riiiight
around the corner from GOProud's Homocon 2012 on the same block. How convenient!
Today's GOP: extremism and hypocrisy all rolled into one.
